TAMPA, Florida, April 17, 2013 —U.S. District Judge James S. Moody Jr. on Tuesday, ordered former juror Terri Wright who helped send reggae star Buju Banton to federal prison, to appear before him at a June 26 hearing. Banton, whose real name is Mark Anthony Myrie, is currently serving a ten year prison term after being convicted for trying to set up a deal to buy 11 pounds of cocaine .
The Judge is expected to question Wright about allegations that she read up on Banton and the law during the trial. Wright contends she waited until the trial was over.
The Judge had ordered that the computer be seized and asked a computer expert to examine the hard drive to determine when she investigated the case.
